StudioDB3D Airports and Duty Free Retail

StudioDB3D has spent many years visualising airports and the retail spaces within them.

We relieve airport and retail planners from the technical constraints of intensive 3D visualising of vast detailed spaces. By providing valuable rendered feedback during the design process our clients can review and refine multiple design options whilst we continue construction, and hone in on the final design visuals.

Airports we have worked include Muscat, Indira Ghandi International T1D and T3, Mumbai, Bristol International, Charles de Gaulle, Birmingham International, Xi'an, Billund, Zurich, Lyon, Bangalore, Dublin, Newark, Frankfurt, Belfast, London Heathrow T4, Larnaca, Tenerife, Manchester.

How we work

Below is a standard timeline outlining how a set of visuals is produced

1. Briefing & Planning

The design concept is briefed and we begin work by either sketching out a 3D planomatic. 3D scanning an environment or using supplied CAD data.

2. Design ideas interpreted.

Designs are then incorporated into the planomatic space model. Compositions are decided on or animatic preview is created.

3. Detail and lighting added for render previews.

Client reviews previews with feedback for amends and refinement.
Repeat steps 2/3 until happy.

4. Top and Tail, Delivery

A presentation ready set of stills or an edited animation is delivered.
